ACADEMICS

In today's data driven world, the need for high school graduates to understand language, science and mathematical concepts and be able to use reasoning strategies to make decisions has never been more important.

Students learn language, science and math best through activities that encourage them to explore, think about what they are exploring, solve problems using information they have gathered themselves, and explain how they reached their solutions. Students learn more easily when they connect academic concepts and procedures with their own experience. Through problem solving that involves the application and communication of concepts in language, science and mathematics, students will gain a deeper knowledge of mathematical concepts and will develop a positive attitude towards the study of all subjects.
