What is S.T.E.A.M?
 

• An enriched classroom environment developed for students who enjoy and excel in the areas of Math, Science and Technology 

• Students will meet Ministry curriculum requirements by working on interdisciplinary projects that incorporate unique opportunities for rigorous and differentiated instruction

• Inquiry based classroom experiences and reach ahead opportunities enrich student learning enabling them to make connections between their learning and their world preparing them for post-secondary study and the 21stcentury workplace.
   

How to Apply?

• Submit completed application package and write the test  in the School Cafeteria on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 4:30 p.m.

• A light pizza dinner will be provided.

• Acceptance and non-acceptance letters will be sent out on December 10th, 2018

 

S.T.E.A.M. Program Certificate

​

To qualify, students will complete 4 additional mathematics, science or technology courses in their grade 11 and 12 years and/or may continue with one of the Specialist High School Major Pathways in Transportation, Health and Wellness or Arts and Culture. 

 

They will receive a S.T.E.A.M program certificate at the graduation ceremony.
